Playing With Smokeys & Bold Lips.

Hello my lovelies!😘

I am so sorry that I haven't posted anything for so long and I had to keep you all waited for my new blogpost but yeah, I wanted to post something different which isn't an everyday makeup look that you see here. I know heavy smokeys and bold lips are really tough to deal with but carrying them with ease is what the key really is, I believe!

Coming back to this look : I will list down the products below that I have used but before that, I would like to explain the technique first, which is the most important thing to follow. ☺

Process : Priming the face first gives one an even skin tone and makes the skin ready for the base makeup. This is followed by the foundation which I do not use it often unless it is a heavy party look as shown here. I use a sponge to blend that onto my skin and pat where required. Next is the concealer. I have concealed my under eyes and the required areas that needed concealing. Next is the setting of the base makeup. I have set that with a compact.
For the eyes, I have used shades from the Makeup Revolution Palette. These palettes come with 12 shades - Some matte and some metallics, but most of them are perfect for smokey eyes or brown glam smokeys. I have used the first shade for my brow bone and the fifth shade as the transition shade on the crease. The best thing about these shades is that they are super pigmented and a single swipe of the color will give a nice shade. So, you actually need a very little amount of the color. Time for some actual shade. I have used the twelvth shade from the palette and patted that onto my lids because that is going to be the most important shade and as I mentioned before, these colors are super pigmented; which is very impressive. But too much of the color, ruins everything! 😀

Blending time! I blended the twelvth and the fifth shade together to get a more even and natural look to my lids. When the blending was done, it was time to line the eyes with the gel liner. There is a slight wing on the outer corners that I wanted to extend. I have a waterproof mascara on my lashes and the name will be mentioned below. I have a very light blush on my cheeks and I have used two shades for my lips.

Product Description :

1. Primer - Oriflame Face Perfecting Face Primer
2. Foundation - Maybelline Fit Me Foundation Shade 115 Ivory.
3. Concealer - Lakme Absolute Concealer Stick Shade Medium.
4. Compact - Maybelline White Superfresh Compact Shade Coral.
5. Makeup Revolution Redemption Palette Iconic 2.
6. Gel Liner - Maybelline Gel Liner Shade Black
7. Mascara - The ONE Lash Resistance Waterproof Mascara from Oriflame.
8. Blush - Very Me Blush from Oriflame Shade Sweet Pink.
9. Lips - Mix of two colors : Chambor Powder Matte Lipstick 157 Rubis Rouge and Matte As Hell Lipcrayon in the shade Scarlet O'Hara from Sugar Cosmetics.

The saree is a gift from a close relative for my wedding and the accessories are borrowed from my sister in law and mom in law. Haha! 😆

Anyway, a detailed explanation of this look in detail as a video will be up on my channel very soon. Many of you requested my hair care routine. So, I would be posting a video on that soon by the start of August.

I know this looks bold and tough to carry a smokey eye, as most of you aren't comfortable with smokeys and some of you are even hesitant to try smokey eyes because it makes one look like a panda, but trust me, you can rock a smokey eye with kohl too! I will talk about everything in the video about the technique and the procedure. I promise! 😊

I hope you like this look. Sharing some quick selfies here. If you like this post, do not forget to share it and post a comment below.

Thankyou ❤
